This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and aspirational leader to join the CET Leadership Team as Headteacher at Yewdale Primary School. With a clear vision for improving education and a passion for learning, the successful candidate will be committed to improving the life chances of the young people who attend Yewdale Primary School. They will play a key role in developing and driving the academic provision and shaping the learning. We are looking for an inspirational leader who will provide professional leadership and support at Yewdale Primary School. The Headteacher is a senior leadership role within CET and will be expected to work with the Director of Primary Education, CEO, the Trust Board and the CET Leadership Team to promote and develop CET in achieving its ambitions for the education of all pupils/students and other stakeholders. The role description should therefore be seen as a general guide and other duties may be required within the scope of this post as reasonably required.

All Headteachers are subject to the requirements of the National Standards of Excellence for Headteachers, as published and revised by the DfE. These criteria will form part of the post holder’s professional development plan, appraisal and review which will be carried out by the Director of Primary Education, CEO (as applicable) and the Chair of the LAB.
